FUMIGATION

FUMIGATION

Fumigation: Fumigation is an effective method used to address challenging pest problems and control harmful organisms in storage facilities.

Special fumigant gases are utilized to target and control pest populations in the designated areas. Fumigation provides an eco-friendly and efficient solution, ensuring the eradication of harmful organisms and preventing future infestations. It is a reliable and long-lasting pest control method widely employed in various industries such as agriculture, storage, and shipping.

Sealing Studies

Leaks of Phosphine gas, which has almost equal molecular weight with air, must be prevented. Otherwise, failure to keep enough gas in the environment during fumigation will cause unsuccessful fumigation.

Especially if the egg phase cannot be destroyed, it will cause reproduction in the following days and low Phosphine concentration will cause the storage pests to develop resistance.

Fumigation Measurements

As practice, the successful fumigation process should also be technically verified. During the fumigation process, the amount of Phosphine in the environment is measured in ppm.

During the application, leakage measurements and post-ventilation trace measurements are made for the safety of outdoor areas.

Deactivation & Ventilation

If used after application, metal phosphine wastes are neutralized and delivered to the disposal facility as very hazardous waste.

Adequate ventilation is provided until a safe working environment is provided, and access to the area is allowed with safety measures.

Disinfection

The environment must first be cleaned for the disinfection process to be effective.

Berva's trained team makes the application with the disinfection device so that every point in the environment comes into contact with the disinfectant.

Depending on the ambient temperature, the disinfectant is expected to dry in 1-3 hours.

After the disinfectant dries, there is no need for any rinsing or cleaning, it can be entered directly into the environment.

After the disinfection process, our environment is under protection for 30 - 60 days depending on the intensity of use. (We clarify the disinfection interval after the detailed examination of our team)
